As I look at her now in her ruffles and bow
By: Jennie Anderson

I look on this God given gift only as a loan.
I know someday she will leave me this child
I will be lost and lonely without her standing
By: Jennie Anderson
Once I had a baby girl so pink and new,
near.
     I love so dear.
She has filled the emptiness and lonliness
I've known.
I think how amazing how fast a child can
I keep Mommy busy when I start through my paces.

Like dumping ashes in her coffee and making funny faces,

or when I pull books and records out and tear the curtains down.

Why, you'd think she'd like that but all she does is frown.

You'd think with all the work I do she'd let me stay up all   night.

Hump!   Makes me go to bed at eight and then says,

                                      "whew that's late."

My Mommy calls me Angel and Daddy calls me Lark and when

I am a real good girl they take me to the park.

I hope you like this poem, it took a lot of do.  After all I must be

smart for I am only TWO.
