When I was young I often did
things that would make you
mad, that would let you down.
But, still you showered me with your love.
Still you gave me your affections.
Still you gave me your special attention.
Still you made me feel that I am special.
I adore and admire you for what you are
and what you've done.
I want to be like you in some ways.
Yet, you taught me how to be me in my
way with all the good things inside me.
I am sorry Mom,
for those times when I let you down.
I didn't mean any of them.
I didn't mean to hurt you.
I want to thank you Mom,
for the faith you have in me, for
all the memories of when we were
together. For the lessons of life
you've taught me.

I know that I didn't say these words
often enough but, I do mean it when
I say,
I LOVE YOU MOM
I just want to let you know that I'm
so proud to be your daughter.
That I would never let you down.
That I miss those times together.
