This candle burns for you my sweet Sister...
To remind us of our love for you.
July 14, 1932 to May 1, 1999
Little we knew that morning, God was going to
call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in
death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home. You left us beautiful
memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Sisters are so special and when they leave us
we are never really apart from them.
This tribute shows that your sister lives on in
your soul through the beauty of your words,
through the love in your heart.
Through the memories you will always share.
Forever three
Love you
Francine

A simple letter to my Sister
All my life there were three. Three strong against the odds
life hands us. You were always there for me when I was
growing up. I have loved you all my life and never thought
you would leave me.
You were always a loving wife and mother, always trying to
please us all. Even though your life was filled with the
sorrow of loosing three children you remained strong.
Your silent courage and strength is what I always admired.
My memories of our last visit are vivid and seem like
yesterday. It is unbelievable you have been gone a year.
I remember the things we did and said my last visit, how we
laughed and talked. I remember sitting on your front steps
watching the moon rise over the mountains. Reflections in
the water of the river, the ripples like memories of our time
together going on forever.
I know you are no longer here for me to tell you all the things I would like to say. You left so suddenly I did not have time tell you what you really mean to me. Nor can I tell you how lonely I am without you.
I went by your house today and it is still the same, quietly
watching the river go by. I looked at the steps where we use
to sit and could almost see you waving bye to me. How I
wish we could bring back those days. We shared so many
secrets, the three of us.
I hope someday we will see each other again when it is my
time to walk through the mist. But for now I am satisfied
that you are loved and safe in God's hands.
It is always difficult to say good~bye, so I will tell you
so~long till a better life my sweet Sister.
I was blessed twice with the most wonderful Sisters God
could have given me.
"For when three sisters love each other with such sincere
affection, the one does not experience sorrow, pain, or
affliction of any kind, but the other's heart wishes to relieve,
and vibrates in tenderness... like a well-organized musical
instrument."
~ Elizabeth Shaw
